Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your information only in these circumstances:

• With other group members (credentials, payment status, chat messages)
• With split participants (payment details, contact information)
• With payment processors (Stripe, Paystack, Flutterwave, OPay, Korapay, and MoniePoint) for transaction processing
• With email service providers (Resend) for notifications
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights
• With service providers who assist in app operations under strict confidentiality
• Your public profile information is visible to other Subify users

• Encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest

• Limited access to personal information on a need-to-know basis

Withdrawal Fees & Policy

• Our standard withdrawal fee is 15% per transaction. You are allowed to process one withdrawal every 30 days at this standard rate.
• If you choose to process another withdrawal before the 30-day period is over, an additional 5% fee will be applied, bringing the total withdrawal fee to 20%.
• New group creators: Withdrawals are restricted for the first 30 days after creating a group and receiving member payments. This protects members and prevents fraud.
• Requested withdrawal amounts are placed on hold for up to 30 days and deducted from your available balance to prevent duplicate requests.
• You can only withdraw to verified bank accounts linked to your BVN.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and review your personal information
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of promotional communications
• Request data portability

Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Transaction records may be kept longer for accounting and tax purposes.

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data. When you request account deletion:

• Your account will be scheduled for deletion in 14 days
• You will receive email notification of the scheduled deletion
• You can cancel the deletion by logging in before the 14-day period ends
• After 14 days, all your data will be permanently deleted, including:
  • Personal profile information
  • Groups, split bills, and memberships
  • Transaction history and wallet data
  • Messages and communications
  • Activity logs and interactions
• This deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed after 14 days

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
