Netflix Sharing Is Leaving Subify: What This Means for Our Community
More than seven months ago, we launched Subify with a simple goal: to make it easier for professionals and everyday people to share costs and group-buy subscriptions in a legal, responsible, and transparent way.
Since launch, the response and adoption has been incredible. To everyone who signed up, shared a subscription, invited someone, provided feedback, or simply supported the idea — thank you. You have been part of Subify’s foundational community, and we genuinely appreciate it.
However, as Subify grows, we also have a responsibility to ensure that the services available on our platform are shared in accordance with the rules and terms established by their respective providers.
This is a deliberate decision.
Subify Technologies is a legal business, and we cannot associate the company with activities that violate the terms of service of the platforms we support. While shared subscriptions can be a great way to reduce costs, they must be handled within the boundaries established by each service.
We believe doing things responsibly is more important than simply offering every subscription available.

Netflix Sharing Is Coming to an End
In line with Netflix’s household requirements and our commitment to responsible subscription sharing, Subify will no longer facilitate Netflix subscription sharing through the app.This is a deliberate decision.
Subify Technologies is a legal business, and we cannot associate the company with activities that violate the terms of service of the platforms we support. While shared subscriptions can be a great way to reduce costs, they must be handled within the boundaries established by each service.
We believe doing things responsibly is more important than simply offering every subscription available.
What Happens to Existing Netflix Members?
This is not goodbye immediately.
We will gradually wind down Netflix sharing on Subify, with December 31, 2026 serving as the final date for Netflix sharing through the platform.
Existing members will continue to have access to their Netflix subscriptions until then, subject to the applicable service terms and the subscription period they have purchased.
For subscriptions that extend beyond December 31, 2026, we will process the applicable refunds for the unused period.
Our goal is to make this transition as smooth and fair as possible for everyone affected.
You trusted us when Subify was still finding its feet, and your participation helped us learn, improve, and build a better product. You were part of the early community that helped demonstrate what responsible subscription cost-sharing could look like.
This change doesn’t erase that journey. It simply reflects the next stage of Subify as a business.
There are other useful subscription services available through the platform, and we’re continuing to work on expanding the options available to our community.
